I heard the statement years ago that the gospel is free, but she just got to pay for the freight. Over the years of my teaching, I have used that as an opening statement for an offering as pastor of the church. 
However, I've realized that that doesn't just have to do with the money; it has to do with our growth and lifestyle as Christian. According to Scripture, you've heard it said that we couldn't work for our salvation or earn it by doing some great deed. 
Yeah, they find here in the book of James the first chapter in the second verse that it looks like trials that I go through produce maturity and growth in my life.
Could that be true? Well, think about it for a moment the trial of your faith worketh patience and let patience have its perfect work that you may be ideal.
That sounds to me like a "God plan." 
It's one of those things that our father God set up to bring us to the ultimate conclusion of mature sons and daughters in the kingdom of God.

THE CURSE HAS BEEN REVERSED #775/ REVEALING THE CHRIST LIFE WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

If the curse has been reversed, broken, and taken away by Jesus Christ, why do I feel like I'm under one sometimes? I have asked God to forgive me, but yet I feel so bad at times. When I get up from the altar after weeping and repenting before the Lord, I know he's forgiven me. Yet the next day, I feel like I'm still unforgiven. Why?

Remember this everything operates by Faith.

When you repent again, you express that you did not believe God had forgiven you. The enemy of your soul, the devil, and his demons take advantage of that and bring the effects of the curse.

Jesus broke the curse at the cross and resurrection; it no longer has dominion over you.

Believe it, confess it and stand firm because the devil has no power any longer in your life.

STAY BY THE STUFF-REVERSE THE CURSE #774/ REVEALING THE CHRIST LIFE WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

What does it mean when we say that you should "stay by the stuff?"

In the Scriptures, there's a story of David when he was living in Ziklag. After the town had been burned and all of their families were taken away captive, God told them to pursue the enemy. At one point, half the men got tired and wanted to rest. The other men said, if you stay here  you don't get any of the riches that we will capture from the enemy. 

However David stepped in and said no those that stay here with the stuff and protect it will get the same reward as those that go out and fight the enemy in battle.

So be encouraged dear ones if you feel like you have been left out when everyone else goes out to fight. You are so important because you are staying steady and holding up the hands of those around you with encouragement and prayer.

So you want to go to Chicago?  What's the first thing you do? Well, of course, in this modern age, you pull out your cell phone and bring up the airlines and order an airplane ticket.

You made the first move; you took the first step in in the course of time you will be in Chicago.

Life is made up with that same action in everything you do, both spiritual and natural.

God, the father, puts the desire in your spirit, and you have to take a step and be obedient to what you know God has for you.

HOW TO BREAK THE SECRET CODE OF THE BIBLE #772/ REVEALING THE CHRIST LIFE WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

What you're trying to tell me there's a secret code before I can understand the Bible?

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying. And only those that have that secret code can understand what the Bible to saying and what your purposes in this world.

There's multitudes of people that read the Bible as a history book as poetry or fantasy.

There's also some people in the church that read the Bible and go to sleep while they're reading it because they're getting no life out of it. 

It becomes a dead book to them because they do not know the code.

When Jesus asked Peter who he thought Jesus was. Peter said you are our Christ the son of the living God.

Jesus said you didn't get that on your own the father in heaven gave it to you.

Bingo! There's a code. It's the Holy Spirit that opens up the Bible and gives us the revelation of who our father is and who Jesus is to us.

Whoops, I didn't see that one coming!
Among the many things you will never hear God say the statement above is one of them. Our heavenly father is never cut short or surprised he is always prepared ahead of time.
Most of the storms that come into our life certainly must be for a test to our faith to see if we trust the Lord's ability and his prepared deliverance.
Look at Jesus and the disciples in the middle of a storm. Jesus is asleep the disciples are beside themselves with fear. Fear turned into criticism and accusation against the very one that was there to deliver them.
Jesus was asleep in the boat because he knew the answer was already given by his father; Authority over storms.
Take courage my friend long before our troubles come God already has a ram in the Thicket.

More precious than gold!

More precious than gold, how could that be? After all, a pile of gold is what everyone seems to be after. Wouldn't that satisfy everything that you ever desire in life if you had a pile of gold in your backyard? It sure seems that way when you look around and see the world scratching their way up the mountain of success to get that gold.

And yet, the Scriptures tell us that the trying of our faith is more precious than gold.

OK, I believe the Scriptures, so what's going on after?

The father is after your faith life because your faith is what will be with you forever.

Thieves can break-in and steal your goal, but no one can take your faith away but you.

Your face is the key to everything you do in your spiritual journey with the father.

Because the Scriptures tell us he's it comes to God must believe that he is and that he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

So there you go. Your faith is more precious than gold.

What is a covenant and why is it so important to God into his kingdom?

A covenant is an agreement that is made between two parties. It's a contract and in agreement that establishes plans for the future of the two that sign the contract.

God always and only deals with mankind through covenants.

A prophecy that God has given you is in agreement that you have made with God and because of that God is able to fulfill that agreement in your life. Believing the prophecy is what makes the agreement.

I encourage you in this season of our life to remember the prophecies and the words that God has spoken to you and that you have said yes to. Let them come up before your face again hold them before the Lord renew your covenants with him.

Jesus said unless a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die it abideth alone. But if it dies it brings forth much fruit.

What have you lost that made you think it was the end of the world for you. Has something died in your life such as a job or a relationship? 

Be encouraged today as you look at the principles of Christ and his kingdom when he said that which you bury in the ground will come forth in abundance.

There are things we just have to let go and give it to God and let him bring it back in his way in time.

When you give your seed offering to the Lord you are really burying it in his ground.

It's gone out of your control but it is in the hands of God that he will bring it back multiplied.

Open your heart today to receive your harvest for the things that you have lost or that have been stolen from you. They will come back multiplied.

The world that I was raised in had a statement that they made about children, and it was children should be seen and not heard. And there is some truth to that. When it comes to conversation among adults, it's hard to be heard over the noise of a child.
However, along with that statement also comes an attitude that children are not that important to our Conversation.
When the children tried to come to Jesus, the disciples said, no, this is for adults; only stay away. Jesus didn't try to cover his irritation when he told them to suffer the little children to come onto me for such is the kingdom of heaven.
The Scriptures tell us that if we come as a child with humility, trust, and forgiveness, we can enter the kingdom of heaven. 
Children have a wonderful imagination; they can believe anything. So it is with you and me as we come into the kingdom of God; open your heart to believe.
For the Scriptures tell us he didn't believe us shall receive.
