So you've been saved and born again converted. Now what? Where do we go from here?
Well, I know the usual routine is to stay out of sin so I can go to Heaven. Sure, that's a good idea and a pretty good goal to have in life.
What was God the Father's goal when he sent Jesus to die in your place and make you a new creature in Christ Jesus? I don't think so.
What are the Scriptures saying that he has made us new creatures and that everything has become new? Just how far does that go?
Can we dare think that it would go beyond our imagination? The apostle Paul thought so.
So how about you? Are you ready to stretch yourself into some new territories of imagining how far this new creation will take you?

The Scriptures tell us that we should go on into maturity, and this we will if God permits. The word maturity is also interpreted as perfection. So here's my question does God permit perfection? I suppose a better question would be what would hinder us from God allowing us to go on into maturity in that place of spiritual perfection. The first thing I know that would hinder is unbelief. Another would be a lack of understanding or knowledge of the spiritual life that God has planned for each of us. The scripture says that God's people perish because of the lack of knowledge. So here's my suggestion for you. First of all, believe that it's possible to mature into a place that the Scriptures would refer to as perfect. Secondly, the Scriptures also tell us to study to see if these things are true. To begin searching out the Scriptures, lean into the spirit, wait upon him, and watch what happens. After all the promises in the day that you seek me with your whole heart, you'll find me. Among all of the questions that people want to know is what about my future? It starts as children I wonder if I'll be a fireman or a space cadet. The quest never ends some go to fortunetellers while others go to prophets. The big secret that everyone should know is that God has made a way for those who have put their trust in him to know their future. We see our future in many ways. Sometimes we see it through the Scriptures other times through the prophets. But most often we see our future through our relationship and personal time with the father as we meditate in his presence. What does it mean equal partnership? Well, first of all, whatever you do, you do together, and you receive the same reward back. The apostle Paul uses the marriage covenant as the example of an equal earthly partnership that works.
He refers to the marriage when referring to you and I and our relationship with Jesus Christ.
When we come in to covenant with Christ through salvation, we become partners, and therefore we get to share and all the benefits that Christ has for himself.
For instants, he died for us on the cross, and we died with him when he did.
Then he rose from the dead, and when he did, we rose with him.
And when he ascended to the father, we got to go along now we're seated in heavenly places with Christ in and the authority ruling and reigning in the kingdom of God.

Out of one side of our mouth, we sing, “to be like Jesus to be like Jesus, all I want is to be like him.” Yet on the other side of our mouth, we are saying I'm not worthy of being like Jesus because of all my weaknesses. The Scriptures tell us that a person acting like that is a person with a double mind, and the Scriptures tell us that a double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways. So face the scriptural facts and confess today that he has made you into his image and that the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in you. Say to yourself out loud, because Christ lives in me, I have his nature, and I have his spirit. Therefore I am his twin brother. We have the same father, and we have the same spirit. When the Scriptures tell us that fear has torment, it's not kidding. Fear produces so many side effects, including sickness, depression and hopelessness.
We are in a download of fear coming from several sources, including our media in our politics and even our friends. The end result is we have lost faith and hope in our future. Because of that, many Christians are looking to escape and go to heaven. I hope that Jesus comes before it gets any worse.
Well, I've got good news for you that's not gonna happen by Thursday.
So because of that, take heart. The real good news is that God's got a plan for your future; when you find it and hold onto it, it's a marvelous experience of extended version and faith.

There was a love song in the 1960s titled "we live in two different worlds." It was the cry out of the soul of a man who was in love with a girl that lived in the city, and he was a country boy. The sad ending of the song was it would never work because I love someone I can never have. The believer in Jesus Christ has discovered the secret of living in two different worlds. We are alive today in the world we live in, and we influence it in so many ways. Yet because of the miracle of new birth and the life of Christ that we have, we are alive in the heavenly's and already are living in our eternity. The scripture clearly teaches us that we are seated right now in heavenly places with Christ Jesus on the seat of authority that the father has made for us. God has commanded us to pray always and to not cease in our prayers. He also said that men and women should not faint, but we should pray. That statement indicates that if we don't pray, we will faint.
We know we're fainting when we have unbelief, fear, doubt, and depression. The life of prayer will cure that.
However, discouragement comes when we pray, and it seems like we're talking to her self we never hear the other side of the conversation.
Be encouraged today that you can hear the voice of the Lord when you pray. God has devised so many ways for you to hear him; let him show you some of them.

As a young preacher's kid, we had the privilege of going out to eat with our apostle on occasion. When we did, he would always tell me George CPL. Of course, I asked him the first time what he meant, and then every time after, I knew exactly what he was telling me. CPL meant clean plate leave. We always eat at the cafeteria, and you could take as much as you wanted to. My apostle said, George if you're going to take it easy, all of it, don't leave it on your plate.
That's a strange story to tell you when we're talking about God's nature and his faithfulness. God has that same attitude when he deals with us that everything he starts, he always finishes. His promises are true; his covenants are unbroken; you can depend on him to fulfill his desires for you.
So how do we respond? We respond by faith and obedience. When we do, we receive the abundance of grace and the gift of salvation.
I love the declaration Jesus made on the cross that sums it all up when he said it is finished.
