“if you believe you shall receive there's not a trouble or care the good Lord can't relieve, he is just the same today all you have to do is trust and pray,
Believe you must believe.”
That song was a favorite of mine as a single evangelist traveling with another young man around the country promoting faith in Jesus Christ.
Sounds so simple. How is it becomes a complexed to this generation around us.
In the New Testament King Agrippa said something so sad when he told Paul who is in his court, “almost have you persuaded me to believe.”
It's the simple act of believing in Jesus Christ and what he has done for us through the cross and resurrection that brings to us eternal life and all the benefits of God himself.
How do we obtain faith?
First of all faith is a gift from God. There are things that we can do to increase the downflow from heavens faith supply and there's things we can do to reduce that same flow of faith.
The Scriptures refer to little faith and great Faith.
Which of those that we are depends on how open we are for the downflow from God himself.

The apostle Paul told us not to for sake the assembling of ourselves together and there's so much more as you see the day approaching.
That verse in the Bible is to tell all Christians of every generation that we need to meet together so that we might share the spirit of God together and draw one from another encouragement and strength.
You need to meet together regularly with the company of people that God has put you in so that your shepherd can speak into your life and the apostle and the prophet can minister in the assembly of the Saints.

When Paul stated in the Scriptures I know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, he expressed the true meaning of fellowship. Before we can truly interact with others in our life and our church, we, first of all, must have had an intimate relationship with the father in heaven.
Jesus said there were two Commandments that he was giving them. Number one, love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, etc. The Chi thought here is that you have to love the Lord before loving your neighbor, which is the second commandment.
So the mystery that we need to discover if we're going to have a good fellowship with another is to first have a good fellowship with our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. When you accomplish that, you will not be offended or wounded when you intermingle with people in the church and your life. Because you'll see them through the eyes of love.

One of the basic human nature's that we inherited is the spirit of selfishness. We love the clutch on to what we have and put a fence around it. Our loving heavenly father gave us a remedy for that dread curse called greed and selfishness. That remedy is the gift of giving.
When we give away from our self we become godlike or in other words in the nature of God. Why?
Because as stated in John 316 God so loved the world that he gave.
We know that the gift that he gave was the best gift and it change the course of every man and woman's life and future.
I encourage you to give something away every day and you will stop the power of greed and selfishness in your own life.
If you will do this it will affect every level of life body soul and spirit.

Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.
That quotation by David I'm sure was formed while he was a shepherd in the fields at night. It was there alone with the sheep away from his house and family that he structured those many Psalms.
Because of those times alone with his heavenly father he had the strength to face the lion the bear and the giant. Because he spent time in God's great tasting room he was able to have a life filled with victories rulership and wisdom that only God could bring him.
Think about that today as you break open your Bible and read John 316. That familiar verse in front of you is just a taste of what God has in store if you will go into that verse and believe him to be your savior. Once you have taken a taste of that verse the entire kingdom will open up ahead of you and you will walk in places you've never known before and have fellowship with God himself.
Oh by the way, everything that you've known about god so far is just a taste of what he has ahead of you.

Take a moment to think of all the great gifts that you can dream of to give your best friends. Each person you think of you try to have a unique gift that would especially bless them and help them in their life.
After some time you come to the realization that you just don't have enough money to buy all those gifts that you would love to give your friends.
Then somehow it dawned on you that you have one gift that everybody can use and that it would fit each of your friends and benefit them greatly. You realize that you have been given a great amount of this gift so that you can give it away and not charge for it.
It's then that you decide to give away forgiveness and when you do you get forgiveness back to the abundance.
Isn't this a great life?

The word have I hid within my heart that I might not sin against thee.
Those were the words of David as he spoke to his God and wrote them in the book of the Psalms.
When Jesus was introduced in the New Testament and the new covenant begin to be unfolded he was referred to as the bread of life that came down from heaven.
Jesus told us in the upper room supper this is my body this is my blood.
He told his disciples that if they would eat his flesh and drink his blood they would enter in to the kingdom of God.
When God gave us the Scriptures he gave us the bread of life and condensed form that we may study it read it and eat it and find life when we do.

So you want to stay free and press forward into the purposes of God for your life?
OK I celebrate you and cheer you on encouraging you to do the will of God.
The will of God is for you and I to stay free and press forward to victory and to fulfill our purpose.
The second key that I would like to offer is the Holy Spirit's gift of a heavenly language called other tongues. It has been my experience and I believe scriptural evidence points to the fact that this will increase our strength and give us spiritual insight.
The apostle Paul said that he prayed in tongues more than those that he was addressing. This tells me that it's an important tool in my spiritual tool bag that I should use daily to not only maintain what grow in the Lord.
I encourage you in your journey to use your heavenly language regularly as a means of communicating to the Lord from your spirit man.

Is it really possible for a person to know the will of God in their life?
Well put it this way, if Jesus prayed it and Paul prayed for it then it stands to reason that it's possible to know the will of God and perform it.
So how do I ask a simple question that is just beginning to walk by faith and know a little bit about the gospel know the will of God?
In our journey that we're taking together on the subject of staying free I contend that your heavenly language is part of the agent that God has given you to know his will.
First John 5:14 says this; and this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us, the next verses and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we have ask of him.
Now that's part of the mysteries of the gospel. There's things we do because we have been commanded even though we don't understand how it works.
