Stay- the incredible power of faithfulness. 
Can you imagine a world without the law of faithfulness to control our environment? We may interpret that as the law of nature or a scientific fact that the sun comes up every morning, and we don't give a second thought about gravity not being faithful to its original design. 
If gravity decided to be different and not obey the command to stay the course, everything would fly apart. 
This is why the controlling factor for everything in our world and the world to come is under the steady hand and discipline of Jesus. The Scriptures tell us the word of his power maintains all things. 
In many ways, human nature, it's not a custom to stay put, and I think they refer to that as a Wunderlust spirit. The desire to roam and do our own thing has been in bread from the fall in the garden. 
Faithfulness and obedience to God's commands are solidified and anchored in work accomplished on the cross and at the resurrection. We as believers now can be faithful and obedient to what God has called us to do; live as sons and daughters of God.
Stay in your gift.
Stay in your calling.
Stay in your place.
And you too will hear the master say, well done, good and faithful servant enter into the joy is that I have prepared for you.

Dream a dream with me because the possibilities of tomorrow are beyond your imagination, or are they?
The lesson learned from the story of the tower of babel is that the people involved in whatever they could imagine could do. That's why God came down and confused their language because their imagination was evil.
Built into our DNA in our human makeup is the ability to dream and imagine and create what we have seen and heard from within or from without.
The apostle Paul tells us in Philippians four and eight that we were to think about certain things that were good and pure and honest and true. We were to give ourselves and our thought process to what we have seen and heard from the message of the gospel that he preached. 
The gospel of Jesus Christ is a pattern that if we meditate upon the word of God, it will build a highway ahead of us that we can go forward on and be a success and all we do.
So dream a dream with me because out of your dreams will come your tomorrows.

THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU PRAY #854/ EMBRACING THE FATHERS HEART WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

Things happen when you pray. Unfortunately, too many people in the body of Christ have negative feelings toward the whole subject of prayer. Oh, there are many reasons why they would feel that way besides just the fact that the enemy is discouraging them. 
"I know I need to pray, Pastor, but I'm so busy, and I have all these kids that I need to take care of at home." 
"well, you know I tried praying, and nothing seemed to happen; I just gave up on it after a while."
"pastor, I don't know how to pray; you pray; you're good at it."
Yes, all kinds of reasons not to pray.
However, the Scriptures still tell us that if we pray, things will happen to us that are positive and powerful.
Jesus said in the book of Matthew when he was instructing his disciples about prayer when you pray, not if you pray.
That tells me we are expected as God's children to talk to him as a father or a regular and repeated pattern of prayer.
How about it, folks, are you ready to recommit to those sweet and beautiful times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord. We call it prayer.

THE REAL GIANT- FEAR #853/ EMBRACING THE FATHERS HEART WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

The real giant is fear. In his 1933 inauguration speech, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt made that famous "quotation, there is nothing to fear but fear itself."
The Bible and God certainly agree with that sentiment that the greatest giant we have in our life is fear itself. The scriptures tell us that fear has torment attached to it.
No one in their right mind wants to be tormented, yet they stand in long lines to buy a ticket to a scary movie. They sit in a dark room and scream as their emotions become all tangled up in the movie's plot. 
Then, at night, they dream about it and lose sleep because they have exercised the muscle of fear, and it's now dominating them.
The first thing that God says to us through the lips of an angel when they show up to give us a new revelation is a fear not. Why would that statement fear not to be repeated so often when an angel appears?
The answer is that fear will block you and me from receiving the revelation that the angel has brought to us from heaven itself. If it's true that we can't get to God without faith, then it's doubly true that fear will block our entrance into his presence.
How many of us have heard someone teach or preach a revelation we couldn't receive in our journey? It was too far out. Somehow fear entered our emotions, blocking us from receiving the revelation for fear of criticism from our friends.
Yet years later, when we were more mature, we embraced it because we were not afraid now.
Jesus said and Luke 12:30 to fear not little flock for it is the father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Translation: you don't get the kingdom if you fear.
Here's the good news. Perfect love casts out all fear.

YOU CAN ONLY HUNGER FOR SOMETHING THAT EXISTS #852/ EMBRACING THE FATHERS HEART WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

You can only hunger for something that exists.   
Some years ago, while on a ministry trip through Poland, we spent a week at a camp meeting in the woods. We ate soup crackers and sliced meat three times a day that entire week.
By the end of that week, we were hungry for a McDonald's hamburger. We could taste it, and I think we even dreamed about it. At the first McDonald's we came to, we made sure we had our fill of the hunger revealed to us.
Why McDonald's?
Because we knew they existed, they were out there somewhere, just waiting for us to find them. 
Deep within your spirit, God has placed a hunger for heavenly things. God placed within you a conscience that has been programmed to keep you in line with his purposes for your life. 
Our heavenly father has tailored each of us for particular gifts to be manifested. The apostle Paul said that each of us has unique and peculiar gifts.
You don't hunger or desire something that doesn't exist.
This is one of the purposes of prophecy and dreams; they give us a picture, a snapshot, just a brief glimpse of what God has planned for us.
That brief glimpse stirs a hunger that propels us forward yesterday.
The Scriptures tell us that if we hunger and thirst after righteousness, we shall be filled.

WHERE DOES FAITH COME FROM? THE SUNDAY NIGHT BLESSING WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

Where does faith come from? Well, it comes from reading the Bible, doesn't it? After all, the scriptures tell us that faith cometh by hearing the word of God. Isn't that the Bible?
So do you agree then that the Bible is most often referred to as the word of God?
But is that what scripture is referring to when it says that we would receive faith by hearing the word of God? I really don't think that's a complete picture.
For instance, how many so-called religious Study experts in our universities read the Bible to their students every day and yet have not received one ounce of faith.
That would tell me that the ink and the paper and the leather binding around it are not necessarily in God's word. That book you hold in your hand is undoubtedly a vehicle for the word of God, but it's still dead letters without the life of God breathing into it.
The Scriptures tell us that if you're going to come to God, you can only do it through faith. So before you break that book open that we called the Bible, you must do it with faith in God. And when you do, something supernatural happens, and that paper and ink turn into a channel for God's voice to be heard in your spirit.
When that happens, Romans 10:17 comes alive because now you're hearing from the lips of Jesus himself, and faith Springs into your spirit.
This is not an anti-Bible message; this is a warning to you not to read it like a novel but let the holy spirit speak life into you when you read it and hear it by faith.

THE POWER OF GIVE AND TAKE #851/ EMBRACING THE FATHERS HEART WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

The power of give-and-take. Give it away, and it will come back to you with babies.
So do you want some friends, do you? Well, according to proverbs 18:24, you need to sow friendship, and friends will come to you when you do.
Sound weird? Yeah, well, that's because God's kingdom works altogether different from man's ideas and man's ways.
For instance, according to Manage ideas, if you're good-looking or have a lot of money, you will have friends. Then, of course, there's the power play. Give someone a lot of power, and people gather around them like bees to honey.
The sad part is somewhere along the line; they realize they are loved and adored only for their money.
So what you give, you'll get back. Do you want kindness? Plant some seeds of kindness and watch them grow into a harvest.
Do you want people to forgive you when you have a problem or a failure? Begin to exercise your ability to forgive others, and watch it come back to you when you need it.
Be very careful about criticizing someone for things that they do that you disagree with. You need to give it to the hands of the Lord and let him deal with it and keep your heart clean. Then when you walk through your periods of missteps, criticism will not come to take you out.
The power of give-and-take. Give it away, and it will come back to you with babies.

It's the right time to boost a little more and do some bragging about the kingdom of God and Jesus our Savior.
Faults humility is a crippling deception that comes in the guise of purity and religious piety. Because of this insidious theology that has been pumped into our history as a church, we often come across as bakers and slaves instead of sons of the most high God. Actually, it's just where Satan wants us to live. She knows as long as we see ourselves as nothing, he can do what he wants without hindrance.
In the last half-century, the revelation of Christ in you, the hope of glory, and who you are in Christ begin to move among the body and change many of us from slaves to sons.
The result of the revelation of our righteousness is in Christ, put shock waves through the body of Christ that is still being felt around the world.
Men like FF Bosworth with his teaching on healing and the Christ-life. EW Kenyon opened up the Pauline revelation until we begin to see ourselves as righteous and images of Christ on earth. Kenneth Hagan told us we could have what we say and that confession is integral to our overcoming lifestyle. Kenneth Copeland brought the bondage of poverty by reminding us again and again that God loves to prosper and bless his sons and daughters.
The women also held their heads high and brought us a slice of heaven that we needed to change our destiny as a body of believers. Marie Woodward Etter broke open the 20th century with divine healing to a level we had not known before. Amy simple McPherson carried it on, followed by Katherine Kuhlman and dozens of others that boasted in the Lord and changed the lives of millions.
Folks, let's do a little more boosting and a little less whining.

YOU ARE THERE. 
If you're old enough, you'll remember a television program by that name. It was in the early days of television when they were learning how to capture unusual places and events. Each week they would take you into the depths of a coal mine or the heights of a mountain climb. The audience would sit spellbound with all their emotions and sensory skills, captivated by what they saw. When it was all over, they could talk about it as one who had been there.
Nowadays, we go to the theater or sit in front of our 72-inch television screen, where every ounce of our imagination is captured by the drama and action of what is before our eyes. 
As far as we're concerned, we are the race car driver, the skydiver, the hero that wins the battle because we are there.
Why is it so difficult to talk to Christians about stepping into the spiritual world and receiving what it would offer to our emotions, spirit, and revelation of Christ?
Come with me today. Let's step into a doorway called "the Scriptures." 
Let's allow our faith to attach to our imagination and see what God would give us as we meditate upon the good word of God.

GOD IS A REWARDER- HE CAN’T HELP BUT GIVE BACK #848/ EMBRACING THE FATHERS HEART WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

God is a rewarder; he can't help but give back.
If we can get that into our spirits and understand it to be an unmovable truth, it would rearrange much of our theology that we know and believe about our father, God.
The very essence of his nature is to give. The Scriptures tell us that he is a rewarder to those who diligently seek him.
John 316 is one of the first scriptures that we memorize, and it tells us that he is a giver.
As a matter of fact, you are so valuable to him that he gave his most precious prize to redeem you out of prison.
Then when we begin to comprehend Luke 12:32, the case against a stingy and selfish God crumbles into dust because that scripture tells us that it is the father's good pleasure to give.
I suppose Luke 638 would be the central focus on the subject of God's return. Give, and it shall be given to you press down, shaken together and running over.
It goes forward that the same measure that you measure out will be measured back to you again.
So check this off of your worry list. God, your father, is gone out give you no matter how you try.
