How we enter the secret place. According to psalms 91, the secret place is where the most high God himself abides. The Psalmist David is talking about abiding there. In other words, this is not a short visit just to look around, or even a test run to see where it is. This statement indicates a dwelling place that produces protection forever.
If there ever were an intriguing description or place to go, that would be it. Think about it it's secret, so that gives it a sense of value, and the rewards are amazing and guaranteed. Who in their right mind wouldn't want to find a place like this.
Unfortunately, a vast amount of Bible readers breeze by this statement without much thought. When they do, they are missing a passageway into the world of God's amazing love, protection, and revelation. The secret place referred to is really in the heart of God the Father because it's in him that we live and move and have our being.
As a kid, we always moved around the country; we didn't live long in any town. Dad and mom were pioneer pastors and evangelists, so the open road was part of our lifestyle. I can't tell you how many thousand miles we drove through the wonders of this great nation, but I can tell you I was asleep for most of it. So I can talk about traveling through the great state of Montana; unfortunately, we did it in the dark, and I was asleep in the backseat.
So the question is, what did I get from my visit to Montana. The answer. I can brag about being there, but that's about it.
So it is with much of our visits into the presence of the Lord; it's a quick trip, and most of us are asleep when it happens. I'm challenging you to enter and dwell, which means stay put and receive the good things the father has for you.
Revelation safety, peace amazing love, eternal security.
That sounds like an excellent place to go and change your address, drive down some roots and be a permanent resident.
David said I'm going to dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The death cult-nothing between. Those of you who have followed my videos for a while understand how I hear from God on each broadcast. A word or a sentence is dropped into my spirit, and I step into it by faith and receive the revelation that comes out of that word.
I received this phrase," the death cult," after coming out of a dream I had last night. In the dream, I was at a Service in an old church that my dad pastored when I was a teenager. In the dream, I was an adult with a history of ministry behind me.
As in most gatherings of this sort, there is always someone in charge and giving direction for the service, etc. That is normal and needed; even the scripture says we must have things done decently and in order.
However, in this dream, the group's overseer was here and conducting business meetings. Promotions were made, and others were demoted. Because of a judgment on the overseer's part, I was demoted and penalized with a duty I had already performed in my beginning stage of ministry.
Even though this was a dream, I still felt the rejection I'd been set aside, which didn't add to my self-worth.
When I awoke Holy Spirit began to speak to me and drop this phrase in my heart; "death suit, nothing between."
When the Spirit of God spoke to us through the Scriptures and said, "call no man father" because you have one Father who is in heaven.
This was the beginning of a new order called the ecclesia, which means the body of Christ where there is neither male or female bonded free Greek or Jew; we are all one in Christ.
This doesn't do away with Ephesians 411, where it expresses the five ministries that are given to the church to bring us to maturity. However, I suspect the journey is shorter than we have been teaching it. What seems to happen in the modern church when they start teaching the five ministries it becomes a permanent status of someone between us and our relationship with the Father.
Everyone needs mentors and tutors when they are young, but even Paul said when I became a man, I put away those days of childish obedience to someone else.
I am convinced that if the church arises to its full stature, we must learn face-to-face relationships on individual experiences with the Father himself. When this is operated in love, it enables us to walk together as one in Christ.
If someone or something gets between you and the face of your Father, you begin the journey of death. You'll become subservient to another instead of to the Father. You rely on them hearing the Father and telling you what he said. Anything you receive second-hand is always on the way to becoming rotten and spoiled.
This does not take away from spiritual fellowship, spiritual counseling, or receiving from teachers and prophets. Those things are intended to be part of your journey, not the journey itself. All of those things add to what you have heard the Father say to you directly and become a witness and an expression of the kingdom of God.
So today, we examine ourselves again to see that there is nothing between us and the face of our Father as our relationship continues to mature.

Breaking the sound barrier- living in the impossible.
On October 14, 1947, Chuck Jaeger broke the sound barrier at 45,000 feet over the Mojave desert. 767 miles an hour is what sound travels at an impossible speed to obtain, so they thought. Just 20 years later, on October 3, 1967, a rocket ship skimmed the atmosphere's edge at 4520 miles an hour. The general sense on that was it could never happen, impossible.
Somewhere in the last 200 years, we began to break barriers like that and came into an age where we live in the impossible.
When the automobile was invented, people said that man could not stand the pressure of going 20 miles an hour in an automobile. Now we sit in our sealed containers on highways that are made for speeds beyond our wildest imagination years ago. We are living in the impossible.
How much more is that true in the spiritual world, we are a part of. The church has gone through an evolution of revelation in this last century that many thought could never happen. The big impossibility was always healing the sick through the name of Jesus. Why don't you know that one away with the apostles? We don't do that anymore.
Yet over the centuries, some have stepped out and broken the spiritual sound barrier. Men and women of all eras have stepped into a realm of the supernatural and introduced their generation to things they thought impossible.
This is our opportunity to express heavenly possibility and go beyond what others consider impossible. You can be what God has called you to be and go where God has called you to, and it's not impossible.
Go to the source of your spiritual energy and life fellowship with the father, and you will fulfill the dream that he has for you to be his image on earth.

Beyond the barrier. When that phrase dropped in my spirit today, I first thought about Australia and the great white shark barrier they have to protect the beaches. Then my mind went to the barrier reef, does underwater walls of coral that protect the beaches and the people from storms. Then I saw a picture of a beautiful yacht parked in the cove next to a tropical island, protected by the barrier they were sitting in.
So the sense of protection is in the statement beyond the barrier. And we thank God that is provided in seasons of our life when we need security and rest.
But what are the barrier's purpose and the time you spend behind its protection? Is it not that you will recover your strength there and rearrange your future plans so that you may go out again to conquer Discover.
What would our early world have done without brave souls that left the protection of the harbor on small little ships that they trusted in to discover the mysteries of the world?
Who would have discovered the Americas, found the north and the south poles, and landed on the moon if it had not been for those who left the protection in the comfort of home?
Yes, there is a danger when you leave that protection, but you'll never discover your potential until you launch out past your comfort zone. The false security of a comfort zone will always hinder your progress in the genius God has put within you.
And so it is in our spiritual journey.
Suppose you're ever going to discover the heights of God's glory and the depths of his revelation; you have to get off the couch and leave your comfort zone. Often there can be the terror you may feel jumping out of the airplane just before the parachute opens. But when that shoot opens, you experience something no one on the ground will ever experience.
The disciples had fished all night, no doubt tired and discouraged, but Jesus challenged them one more time to cast their net on the other side.
Could this be the day you cast your net one more time? There's a great catch for you that will amaze you.

Don't be asleep during this current transfiguration. If you are, you will miss the greatest revelation of Jesus Christ that this earth has ever seen. We are again involved in a spiritual shift in the earth, a worldwide move of the Holy Spirit upon mankind. More people are coming alive to Jesus and to the work that he did for them on the cross then and all the history of the Church.
Nation after nation is reporting hotbeds of spiritual awakening breaking out in their nation. Some of the nations of the world and the most dangerous ones are having the greatest awakening to the love of Christ and the fact that they have been redeemed at the cross and Resurrection.
At the transfiguration of Christ in Luke 9:28, the disciples were overcome with sleep while Jesus was in communion with his father. During their sleep, Moses and Elijah visited with Jesus and talked about his sacrifice on the cross.
There's a line in that scripture I want you to catch as you read this. Verse 32 States, but when they were fully awake, they saw.
Wake up and see what God's doing around your family and your community in Church.
Don't be asleep at the wheel, and most of all, don't be asleep during the most significant move of the Holy Spirit in your lifetime happening now.
I know I hear the reports and the arguments that come back.
But what about all the sin that's going on around us?
How about the wars in the earth and the abusive people and children? How can you say there's a move of God going on.
There's a wonderful promise in the Scriptures given by God himself.
Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.
I also like this one.
When the enemy comes in, like a flood, the Lord will raise a standard against him.
Notice that I moved the comma to where God stays in control of everything going on.
So, as they say, wake up and smell the coffee or the roses, or if your like me, take a deep breath of some good northwest air and know your home.

Faces places heartaches and Joy.
You're in the room; it looks familiar, then you remember. A face pops up before yours, and suddenly you Flashback to another place and time. Can you feel the heartache again?
So sad, you say, but what does that have to do with me? I'm over that. OK, here's the question I have for you today. Did you really take care of the root cause, or did you put a Band-Aid on it and shove it into the closet of your memory.
Boy, that sounds deep, but it's not; it's the life experience of most people you see walking around in your day.
It doesn't take long to pick up the faces, places, and heartache that life conditioner out.
And the way that most people deal with it is by covering it up through different types of personality quirks. The class clown that is always making a fool of himself to get laughter. The shy one that sits in the back of the room and never talks to anybody unless they talk to them first. And of course, there's the loud bully constantly pushing people around and threatening them with violence if they don't do what he expects.
These people have faces, places, and heartaches that are not resolved.
No wonder Jesus cried out and said come on to me, all you that are weary and heavy-laden, I won't cast you out.
Jesus also invited us to come into the kingdom of God, and we would enter into the joy unspeakable and full of glory.
You can't cover it up or ignore it; it must be dealt with by an encounter with Jesus Christ, the source of true joy.
So next time one of those faces comes up, send it on to Jesus; he'll take care of it.

The wheel of time. Among the elements in this universe that we live in that makes it possible for life is the element of time. Time is such a massive part of our life that we often pay no attention to it because it's always around.
I suppose the other dominant factor in life is money. When we were younger, we had all the time we needed and not enough money. Then after a long season of working hard, we have a lot of money but wish we had more time.
The crazy part about it is that time is not ours; it belongs to someone else. Someone gave us a credit card with time on it. At some point down the road of life, we must pay the owner and provide an account for our time on earth.
If you're a Bible person, do you understand that the Creator of all things, God the father is the one who gave you the credit card for the time?
The scriptures tell us that one day we will stand before the judge and give an account of the deeds done in The Body. Well, now that sounds scary. There's a fair amount of those deeds we hope nobody ever discovers, yet we must give an account to the one who gave us the time to do it.
So what will I do about this judgment and the account I must give someday?
Suddenly I remember that the one who gave me the time that I may have squandered and wasted also gave me a promise, and he said it was possible to redeem the time.
Also, I remember another scripture that tells me what the enemy has stolen from me my heavenly father would return to me seven times. Now I know what to do.
I Find My fellowship in the father's presence and cast my care on him, for he cares for me. And because of that, the days ahead of me and the time I still have will be multiplied in its ability and value to the life that my Creator, my father in heaven, has given me.
Every day is a gift; my friend, value your time and spend it loving God with all your heart.

Did God have a memory loss? Whoops, did I say that out loud? Well, that's what I was thinking because when it comes to his nature, the very core is love.
So what about it? Did God have memory loss, or is it that he decided not to remember your sins against you anymore. Of course, we know that's it He decided because He is love itself.
If you have trouble visualizing who God is and his attitude toward you, take a look at first Corinthians 13. This chapter describes love, and most of us have always related that only to marriage teaching.
Love endures long and is patient and kind.
Love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy
Is not boastful or vainglorious does not display itself haughtily
It is not conceited, arrogant, and inflated with pride
It is not rude and does not act unbecomingly
Love does not insist on its own rights or its own way, For it is not self-seeking.
It is not touchy or fruitful, or resentful.
It takes no account of the evil done to it pays no attention to suffered wrong.
If you have never been able to imagine a picture of God and what he is really like, there is a snapshot of our heavenly father. Those verses give us a clear and perfect image of who he is and his love toward us that will never fail or fade out or become obsolete.
If you fear rejection because of your past lifestyle and association with others, get a grip on Romans the eighth chapter.
For I am persuaded beyond doubt that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor things impending and threatening nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now take that to the bank.

Why God tears down before he builds up.
Have you ever wondered why it gets worse before it gets better? Or how about that age-old statement, "it's darkest before dawn." Well, there could be something to that, and maybe a God principle is involved in those statements.
I think about it for a minute regarding the examples of the children of Israel in the old testament journey. They were in Egypt for 400 years, and interestingly enough, they were not enslaved all that time.
Actually, Egypt was their salvation at one time when they were starving for lack of food.
Joseph, the second in command of Egypt, discovered his brothers who had betrayed him and brought them back to Egypt.
Now Egypt wasn't God's plan for Israel; it was not their inheritance or their Canaan land. But they became content because of the ease in their lifestyle and the prosperity of their families.
However, prosperity and lifestyle ease usually lead us to miss the real purpose in life that God had intended for us. Am I in favor of poverty and pain? Of course not. But it seems the human psychic has a propensity to slow down and get lazy when they don't have a challenge ahead of them.
So what does God do he gives us a bear and a lion along the way to sharpen our skills.
Why would he do that? Because he has a Goliath set up just around the corner that will take us to our destiny and the purpose he has planned for us.
Our life is often shaped by the challenges we embrace and those we run away from.
Why does God tear down before he builds up? Because he knows you can't build on feeble and false foundations because you will lose everything you invest if you do.
The illustration of pouring new wine into old wineskins would give us the principle we're talking about. I believe God is deconstructing much of what we have been taught from the mind of men concerning who he is so that we may know him in his purity.
Much of what we know about God has been filtered through the thoughts and fears, and suspicions of others.
I believe we've been called to have a face-to-face relationship with a father so that we might know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of your spirit.

I wonder what it was like the day after the resurrection of Jesus? Seeing that the resurrection of Jesus is the most important and influential event ever in human history, I'm expecting to see something explosive. Why don't we look and see the effects of the resurrection or the day after it happened?
According to scripture, the first thing I see is a woman in the garden next to the tomb weeping. Oh, that doesn't look good.
Then we take a peek at the disciples hiding in a house, fearful of going out in the streets.
What is going on with that?
No, keep in mind this event that just happened has shifted history. The age of the old testament has been closed, and a new era has started called the kingdom of God on earth. Jesus is gone into Hades to preach to those that had died and left them forth in freedom. He is also taking his blood to the father, who has been accepted as the sacrificial lamb, pure and holy.
Yet I look around and see sadness, fear, and a loss of vision.
The disciples were expecting a physical kingdom where they could sit next to Jesus on the throne in Jerusalem. All they could see was that their leader had been killed, and they were on the run for their life.
That doesn't sound like much of a celebration on the day after the resurrection, does it?
Well, of course, we know that the days moved on, and eventually, the disciples came around, the church was born at Pentecost, and the seed of the kingdom was in the ground growing.
In case you hadn't noticed, we are living in the shaping and changing of history at this very moment. Things happening on the earth and in our nation are so powerful that there effects will change our future and give us the promises of God unfolded. Yet because we can't see their results today, there is sorrow and fear in the world and, sadly, in much of the church.
Many are fastening their eyes on what they see around them and in the news reports and have taken on a spirit of fear and worry anxiety that brings torment.
So what are we to do?
Keep your eyes on Jesus and believe the prophets, and you will prosper.
Multiplied millions are turning to Jesus every day in nations around the world.
So rejoice, we are on the winning side.
