I once was blind, but now I see. It was lost, but now I'm found. I once was, but now I live. Interesting shocking confusing yet intriguing. All of those statements are true when you come into the world where Jesus is in control of your life again. That song we used to sing in the church is certainly true. "Without him, I can do nothing without him I would surely fail without him; I would be like a ship without a sail." The counterpart to that phrase of singing is this. But with him, I will not fail, but with him, I can do all things, and with him, I will be that ship that has that sail. Only in Jesus will you find the freedom to be who God made you to be. 'The Lord delays His coming.' Now you don't want to be caught saying that around church folk, you may be cast out. Why, you ask? Because in most cases delay means they're not coming or at least not on time. Do you ever feel like a clock is ticking and you're about ready to lose out because your miracle hasn't come yet? Well, I call that the spirit of delay trying to creep into your thoughts. The promises of God and the prophecies that the prophets speak most often have a time frame and conditions. The last thing we want to do is doubt the promises of God that's a guarantee that they will delay and often never come to pass. Why? Because everything that happens in the spiritual kingdom of God is triggered by believing in faith. You start with faith; you live with faith, and you receive by faith. He has not delayed, and he will never fail your promise he's sure and amen. An old song of the church says, "On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand."
That song is pointing to the parable that Jesus gave about the man building his house upon the rock or the sand. The house on the sand Phil when the storm came to the house of the rock did not.
This is not just an example of our Christian life; this is a picture of how life really works.
Every one of us have our feet planted on something that we stand on. That something has been formed by who has taught us and shaped our thinking. If that thinking is missing the rock Christ Jesus, then we are certainly standing on shifting sand.
Our house is guaranteed to fall when the storm comes unless our feet are thinking in our faith are planted firmly on the life and testimony of Jesus Christ.

Are you familiar with the biblical principle That Whatever you can visualize, imagine or see, you can receive. Well, if you haven't, it's all through the word of God. Vision always comes before doing. .All the profits of the Old Testament and the men and women of God in the New Testament we're all directed, inspired, and motivated by what they saw in their spirit and in the visions that God sent their way. A dream is just a sleepy vision. The book of Acts says that Paul had a vision appear in the night what was that it was a dream. Open your spirit up to the spirit of God; it will inspire you to see and hear God's purpose for your life. And when you do, it will motivate your spirit and your soul to get involved and do the work of the Lord you have been called to. Just like it said about Sampson, it's time to shake ourselves and be and do what God has proposed that we should do. If God's so interested in talking to me, why doesn't he show up and say something? Sound familiar? Well, you and I may not have said those words, but by our actions, we have said exactly that. If you can catch up with me, God and I have time in my schedule; we'll talk. Or something like that. If that sounds too shocking this early in the morning, then maybe it's time for a wake-up call, and we realize God is still making the rules. In the church, we love to hear the stories of the mystics how they heard the Lord's voice and saw his face. We tend to forget they hid away and spent time in the Lord's presence, making room for God to show up in their life. So taking a hint from that, let's clear some space for God's face. When I entered the room, I knew I was home; it was the sound of the congregation of God's people lifting their voices before their Father in glorious praise and worship. It wasn't the sound of a professional band playing from the stage or a group of singers singing the songs for the people. It was the sound that can only be replicated by saints that are returning to the Father his dew praise and worship.
It seems that this generation is a custom to getting their information and entertainment office small and large screens, so we stand in dark rooms reading words off of the screen wall most of the energy and sound is coming off of the stage in front of us.
I've noticed that the charismatic Pentecostal churches have gone back to A worship that is entertaining instead of involving the people as the main source of the sound of worship coming forth.
But they say if we don't do it this way, we won't attract this young generation to the church. Well, if you're in competition with the world, good luck with that. You'll be forever scratching around trying to find out how to entertain the world in the church building.
So what's the answer? How do we reverse the curve and get back on track with scripture worship?
Take a journey through the Scriptures and listen to the sounds of praise coming out of the Psalms, both loud voices and soft whispers, until the angels gather around to listen to God's redeemed sending praises back to you their father.
The sound is so unique it's already patent by heaven itself.

Happy Easter! This is my spiritual birthday. I was born again at The Easter pageant at our church in Long Beach, California, In 1950. Yes, When I got up from the altar, I went to my mother, and I said, mother, I just got saved. If I was older, I probably would've said, 'where to from now?' But since I was just a kid, it took a few years for me to ask that question where to God, why did I get saved and born again. It was in those early years that I begin to realize salvation was just the beginning. My experience on Easter celebrating the resurrection of Jesus was not the end of it; it was just the foundational part of my journey with Christ. Unfortunately, many in the church stop there and wait for the end of time or the end of their life so they can go to heaven and enjoy what God intended for us to enjoy now and Forever. After all, that's what eternal life means you are alive in Christ because of the resurrection, so enjoy your new life in Christ. Today. You're sitting on the living room couch looking out the window with your eye on the driveway. Will, they ever come, you think as you nervously twitch back-and-forth. Waiting for something or someone can be very frustrating and, after a while discouraging. Many times and at some point, we turn the lights off and go to bed. We are now at that place in the history of our nation and our Christian walk. Our expectation has been peaked quite a few times, yet what we look for or expected has not materialized. Some of what we were expecting was our own ideas and desires. That will bring disappointment every time. We are now at a place that we really need to know what God's desires are and stay in line and on track with Him. Because His promises will never fail, and His plans always succeed.
