You can lose your wallet, and you can lose your car keys and all of your credit cards. If you lose those, you can always recover somehow. They seem to come back. But there's one thing in life that you can't afford to lose because you will often never find it again.
That thing I'm talking about is trust.
Relationships are built on it. Marriages stay together because of it. Lifetime friends celebrate unending birthdays together because they've never lost it.
Trust seems like such a simple thing. How could it be so crucial to our daily life in our eternal reward?
Because trust is a spiritual thing matter of fact, it's a spirit that God has given to mankind that we may conduct our life in peace strength and longevity.
No wonder the Scriptures tell us that we should trust in the Lord with all of our hearts lean not to our understanding but in all of our ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct our paths.
Trusting in the Lord is the key to everything.
