Happy Easter! This is my spiritual birthday. I was born again at The Easter pageant at our church in Long Beach, California, In 1950. Yes, When I got up from the altar, I went to my mother, and I said, mother, I just got saved. If I was older, I probably would've said, 'where to from now?' But since I was just a kid, it took a few years for me to ask that question where to God, why did I get saved and born again. It was in those early years that I begin to realize salvation was just the beginning. My experience on Easter celebrating the resurrection of Jesus was not the end of it; it was just the foundational part of my journey with Christ. Unfortunately, many in the church stop there and wait for the end of time or the end of their life so they can go to heaven and enjoy what God intended for us to enjoy now and Forever. After all, that's what eternal life means you are alive in Christ because of the resurrection, so enjoy your new life in Christ. Today.
