What does it mean equal partnership? Well, first of all, whatever you do, you do together, and you receive the same reward back. The apostle Paul uses the marriage covenant as the example of an equal earthly partnership that works.
He refers to the marriage when referring to you and I and our relationship with Jesus Christ.
When we come in to covenant with Christ through salvation, we become partners, and therefore we get to share and all the benefits that Christ has for himself.
For instants, he died for us on the cross, and we died with him when he did.
Then he rose from the dead, and when he did, we rose with him.
And when he ascended to the father, we got to go along now we're seated in heavenly places with Christ in and the authority ruling and reigning in the kingdom of God.
