JUDGING YOURSELF BY YOUR HEART/ SUNDAY NIGHT BLESSING #36 WITH DR GEORGE WATKINS

This whole business about judgment and judging is confusing and can be a little scary. Why is that? Well, it could be that most of us walk around with a certain amount of guilt, hoping no one finds out about the secrets we carry.

That may be a slight exaggeration, but not by much. The truth is judgment is essential for us to progress in life and graduate to the next level.

What kind of school for training session would it be if you didn't have a test to see if you learn something. That's the basic definition of judgment; it's a test.

The scripture tells us to judge, not lest we be judged. Yet it says that we need to judge ourselves so that we're not caught short and fail the test.

In reality, your mouth and what you say judge you each day by the words that come out. Luke 6:45 declares that we speak out of the abundance of our hearts.

Romans 10, nine, and 10 tell us that what we hear with our ears goes into our heart and then comes out of our mouth in confession.

So every day, we are making judgments with our mouths, revealing what is in our hearts.

I encourage you to feed upon the word of God so your heart can be full of good things.
