Let me ask you a couple of questions today; let it be a good subject for you to research and answer some of your mysteries about prayer.
How long does prayer that is given in faith last?
Are those interceding before God on earth praying only for what is ahead of them, or could they be praying for what is behind them? Remember now these are questions you need to search out for yourself. Paul told Young Timothy to study the word of God that he might be a worthy workman.
Here's a little tip for your studies: God has collected the prayers of the saints and put them in Viles. According to Revelation 8:2, the angels pour those prayers out, and they become a sweet-smelling aroma before the throne of God.
Just think about it. Your prayers are bottled up sitting on God's desk, ready to be poured out in whatsoever direction he desires.
